Job Description Opportunity for a bi-lingual (English-Spanish) mental health professional to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team at Mosaic Mental Health. The clinician will provide comprehensive mental health treatment services to patients in the Mosaic community who have a psychiatric and substance use diagnoses.
This position will provide the clinician who accepts the post with a tremendous learning opportunity.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Provide therapy to a diverse population of clients including, individual, family and group therapy
Provide services according to Evidence Based Practices including Wellness Self-Management, Family Psychoeducation, Medication Management, Co-occurring Disorders, and Supported Employment
Develop and implement treatment plans
Manage a caseload, providing case management
Maintain and update clinical records; write progress notes
Maintain records in compliance with the Office of Mental Health (OMH) and agency regulations
Participate in weekly administrative, clinical and utilization review meetings
Other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Bilingual (English-Spanish)
Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Creative Arts Therapy required
New graduates from the above-mentioned disciplines, with internship/volunteer experience are welcome to apply
New York State licensure or New York State license-eligibility (LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs and MHC-LPs and MSW-LPs)
Computer skills and knowledge of service documentation required
A Criminal background check and fingerprinting is required; screening against the GSA, OIG, and OMIG lists of persons disallowed from working in Medicaid funded programs.
