Innovative Services for Seniors
The ISS serves the mental health needs of seniors with group and individual counseling aimed at improving their quality of life, reducing the stigma of mental illness, connecting with community resources—and creating positive and lasting relationships that strengthen their resilience and recovery.
Last year, ISS served 1070 seniors through 8 support groups, ongoing individual counseling, and more than 200 home visits. Group and individual counseling sessions give seniors a place to discuss topics such as adjusting to change, depression, anxiety, elder abuse, family relationships, and caregiving issues.
Satellite Clinic at RSS
The satellite clinic at RSS provides individual and group therapy, and connects seniors with mental health professionals in comfortable environments, such as the client’s home.
