Programs for Children and their FamiliesHalf of mental health and substance use disorders start before the age of 14. We have an opportunity to prevent mental illness from taking hold by focusing on childhood. Mosaic Mental Health is dedicated to early intervention, helping caregivers build strong bonds with their children–the foundation for the resilience they will need to cope with challenges later in life.

Baby Institute/
Chances for Children Intervention Baby Institute/Chances for Children Intervention Positive relationships between parents and children are a recognized predictor of a child's wellbeing and future resilience. However, adverse circumstances such as violence, isolation, and poverty can damage these relationships. Research shows that support services can help struggling families create strong connections. Chances for Children transforms this research into a course of treatment that strengthens attachment between parents and children. Using video-feedback, Chances for Children works with parents to build on positive moments in their relationships with their children. These moments then become the foundation for stronger relationships that help children develop, and foster healthier families. School-Based Clinic Programs
